Solar Lighting CFL Based

Solar lantern is a portable light source like a traditional lantern which gives omni directional pure white light. It consists of a solar photovoltaic module, Sealed Maintenance Free (SMF) lead acid battery, charge controller and DC-AC inverter for lighting the Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CF Lamp).

Highly efficient two-step charge controller protects battery from over charging and deep discharging. High frequency inverter offers high efficacy, more light output and long service life to the CF Lamp. The Solar lanterns are available in two different series - "SL-01" and "SL-02". Depending on the CF Lamp and SPV module wattage, "SL-01" is available in 6 different models.

SL-02 is a more handy and cost effective solar lantern, with the same features as SL-01. This new generation solar lantern is available in two different models depending on the light output and number of hours of operation.

The Solar Home Lighting systems are designed to operate and use for a specific duration of hours/day to suit according to the customer requirements. They are available in four different
models viz.

The home lighting system basically consists of:

• Solar PV module
• Module mounting structure
 • Low maintenance battery
• Charge controller unit
• Indoor luminaries
 • Interconnecting cables

The SPV module is fixed firmly on the rooftop with suitable tilt and inclination so as to receivemaximum sunlight through out the day. The SPV module thus produces suitable voltage and current, which is used to charge the battery. This energy stored in the battery is used to light up the 9W CFL tube, which is housed inside the indoor luminary. The luminary consists of 9W CFL tube with holder, an inverter that is used to convert the stored DC energy in the battery to suitable AC voltage to ignite the CFL tube. The charge controller protects the battery from over charging and deep discharging. A reflector is provided to increase and spread the light uniformly.
The SPV module, luminary and the battery are interconnected through the cables. The solar home lighting system operates in the stand-alone mode.

Solar streetlight controller is basically a charge controller, which is used to control charging and duty cycle of solar streetlights. This micro controller based product features most advanced techniques for battery charging and load control. The street light controller is available in different working voltages and currents as per customer requirements.
